The Royal Visit this week is extra special for Moose Jaw's Teryn Burgess, she'll be receiving Gold in the Duke of Edinbugh's Award, to be presented by Prince Edward at a special ceremony tomorrow.  You can read more on the award here.

Royal Visit

His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex will be in Moose Jaw tomorrow.

You are encouraged to welcome His Royal Highness to the province in Moose Jaw on Wednesday, September 17 at 6 p.m., outside the Saskatchewan Dragoons Headquarters at 1215 Main Street North.

Regina: On Thursday, September 18 at 3:05 p.m., residents of the provincial capital can greet His Royal Highness during his walkabout outside Government House at 4607 Dewdney Avenue in Regina.

Saskatoon: Residents can show their hospitality to His Royal Highness on Friday, September 19 at 9:45 a.m. near the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market, along Avenue A South near River Landing.

Swift Current: At his final stop, the Swift Current community can bid farewell to His Royal Highness during his walkabout outside the new All Saints Catholic Elementary School and École Centennial School in Swift Current at 2220 Woodrow Lloyd Place on Friday, September 19 at 2 p.m.

MJSA Soccer Festival

The Ombrelle Active-Start Soccer festival was Saturday at Yara Centre.  Kids had the chance to try out indoor soccer and take to the indoor field.  If you're interested in getting your kids signed up for indoor soccer this winter, the registration deadline without a late fee is today!  Check out mjsa.ca for more info.
