Their goal is $500,000 and they've already got over $100,000! Providence Place residents and staff are planning to build a park with flower and vegetable gardens on the north side of the downtown Moose Jaw facility.

The Providence Place Resident Council "Park Fundraising Committee" hosted a charity concert Thursday, featuring local group MANNA and raised over $5,400.

The Providence Place Foundation came out at the intermission and presented a cheque for $50,000.  That was followed up with a cheque in excess of 44,000 from the Resident Council and then the Providence Place Auxiliary donated $6,500.

Those interested in donating or seeing the plans for the park are welcome to visit Providence Place.
