Thursday they told us not to worry. Today, fans are starting to get a little uneasy about the future of the Aerosmith concert in Regina this Sunday featuring ZZ Top. After concert promoters downplayed Steven Tyler's injuries and assured everyone that concerts would be going ahead, it would appear Aerosmith has changed their plans for their visit to Western Canada. Steven Tyler, lead singer for the rock band, fell from a stage Wednesday and was taken to hospital. Thursday afternoon, the concert set for tonight in Winnipeg was rescheduled for September. Then late Thursday night, guitarist Joe Perry's wife announced on Twitter that Tyler had a broken shoulder and that the band was already back home. She wasn't sure when the tour would get back underway. We expect to hear more from the band and their promoters Friday regarding exactly what's going to happen this weekend in the Queen City. |
