From coast to coast and here at home people are celebrating the same thing today. It's not just a day off work, it's day to celebrate our country. This is Canada's 142nd birthday and a special celebration continues in Moose Jaw. The pancake breakfast and morening entertainment at the Cosmo Centre got things started. This afternoon we can look forward to the Children's Carnival at the Speed Skating Oval in Wakamow Valley starting at one o'clock. The official Canada Day ceremonies go at two. Starting at six tonight there will be three stages set up at the Exhibition Grounds with local talent performing. That includes the Moose Jaw Idol Competition and the Minto Youth Club. It'll all finish with a bang as the fireworks begin at 10:45. |
