| Kinsmen Telemiracle This Weekend |

Hard to believe, but it's Telemiracle time once again. The 20-hour telethon raises funds for equipment for people with special needs and provides them with medical assistance that wouldn't be otherwise be attainable. "There should be about a dozen of us going up", said local Kinsmen member Russ McKnight. He tells us fundraising efforts in Moose Jaw have been strong, although he can't confirm the size of the cheque the Kinsmen will present at Telemiracle this weekend. "We've had coin bouxes and helping hands at a number of businesses and organizations for a number of months. We still have to gather them and compile the amount". Those who haven't donated locally, can always call and make a pledge this weekend. Kinsmen Telemiracle 33 in Saskatoon will begin Saturday night at 9:00p.m. and run until 5:00p.m. Sunday afternoon. |
