Riders Move into 3 Way Tie for 1st

The Saskatchewan Roughriders got a hugh win on Friday night at Mosaic Stadium with a 37 to 34 win over the Calgary Stampeders.  The win moves the Riders into a three way tie atop the West Division with Calgary and B.C.

 

Michael Bishop was on of the stars for the Riders going 20 for 27 with 242 passing yards and a touchdown.  Henry Burris, who was hearing it from the 15th straight sell out crowd at Mosaic Stadium, went 29 for 45 for 311 passing yard with 2 touchdown passes and an interception.


Neal Hughes had to rushing touchdowns to go along with 9 carries for 29 yards while Hugh Charles had 7 carries for 45 yards.  Burris led the way rushing for the Stampeders with 13 attempts for 44 yards and a touchdown.


The always dangerous Weston Dressler led the way for the Riders with 7 catches for 128 yards and Regina product Chris Getzlaf had 5 catches for 47 yards in his first CFL start.  Ken-Yon Rambo had 12 catches for 94 yards and 1 touchdown for the Stampeders.


The Riders next action goes on Thanksgiving when the travel to Calgary for the rematch with the Stampeders at McMahon Stadium.
