Not the best offensive showing for either team but in the end The Lions got the job done.

Michael Bishop went 16-29 for 298 yards, including 1 touchdown and 1 pick, while Wes Cates picked up 122 yards off of 15 carries with 1 touchdown.

Weston Dressler once again led the Riders receiving core picking up 112 yards on 5 receptions. 

Eddie Davis led the defence with 7 tackles for The Green Machine.

B.C.'s Charles Roberts was held to just 56 yards but managed to reach the 10,000 yard rushing mark in the game.

The next action for The Riders is Saturday night when The Lions make a return trip to Mosaic Stadium to wrap up the home and home series.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
