Home Expo Underway

Despite the forecast calling for snow, a sure sign of spring will be on the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds this weekend.  The Better Homes and Gardens Home Expo begins Saturday.

Matt Dominguez, Branch Manager for Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, says it's a chance to take in presentations and view displays focused on home builds and home improvements.  "Basically, everything that you could imagine that has to do with your home, will be at the Expo."

Dominguez encourages everyone, even kids, to come check out everything that's on display, saying this expo is very similar to the one that's put on in Regina each year, just on a smaller scale.  In terms of entertainment for the little ones, he says, kids can keep busy in the bouncy castle.

"A few guys will be talking about investment opportunities in terms of farmland, real estate agents will be talking about the process of selling your home, a few homestagers will be on hand as well. Once you get into the facility we'll have a roster so you can see what time each group will be on."

Admission is free, but donations are being accepted for the Moose Jaw and District Food Bank.  The Home Expo runs from 11am to 5pm Saturday and 12pm to 4pm Sunday.
