Watch for him on the field and in the grocery aisle. Saskatchewan Roughrider Slotback Andy Fantuz is now featured on a box of breakfast cereal.
Fantuz Flakes are arriving at Co-op locations around the province and the cereal will be sold to the public starting tomorrow (July 29th). "There's a limit of 6 per customer, there's limited quantities and I think they're going to go fast," said Rick Cartman, Grocery Manager at the Moose Jaw Co-op. The collector's edition cereal is expected to be a hit with Rider fans around the province. So much so, supplies aren't expected to last long. "We'll be waiting for customers before 9 o'clock and we'll take a picture of all them coming in. Hopefully they'll be wearing their Rider Pride stuff." The cereal is described as an "oatmeal nut cluster with almonds." Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Childrens Hospital Foundation. In the event the cereal sells out, you'll still be able to sample it in store. |
