Moose Jaw is well represented at the Saskatchewan Senior Men's and Women's Championships.

Lorie Boyle shot an opening round 79 and sits tied with Lloydminster's Jo-Anne Schiller atop the women's standings.

Shelley Ruecker shot an 85, and sits in 9th place.

On the men's side, local golfer and defending champion Ken Bradley a 74 and sits tied for 8th, five strokes back of Saskatoon's Rick Hillestad who leads the pack.

Daryl Herchuck is tied for 12th after shooting a 75;   Dennis Delwo shot a 78 and is tied for 24th; and Greg Vall shot an 89 and is tied for 71st.

The second round gets underway this morning in Saskatoon.
