You've likely got it marked on the calendar. Or, maybe you've got a good memory and don't need the reminder. Whatever the case, the 2009-10 crop year ends Saturday.

The Canadian Wheat Board is reminding farmers that  a number of important deadlines arrive this week for grain deliveries, cash advances and Producer Payment Options.

Sign-up for the 2010-11 Early Payment Option starts August 3rd. An early payment option allows farmers to lock in an early payment value equal to 80, 90 or 100 per cent of the pool return outlook, minus a discount.

A minimum durum guarantee of 80 per cent is in place for both the 2010-11 FPC-Plus and 2010-11 EPO programs. These guarantees remain in place until Series A acceptance levels are announced this fall.
