The malting barley industry wants to recognize the best malt barley growers. So, companies and stakeholders have created the Canadian Malting Barley Grower Recognition Program.

"The industry wants to recognize growers with the best practices for growing malt barley," said Doug Munro, Canadian Wheat Board Malting Barley Program Manager.

The information from these growers has been compiled to create an outline of the best practices for growing malt in western Canada.
