The Moose Jaw Humane Society cares for over 1,700 animals every year and they are asking for a little help.
When the Moose Jaw Warriors and Regina Pats renew their rivalry Tuesday night, you can help by making a cash donation or donating animal treats and toys in exchange for a special edition Warriors poster. Humane Society's Christie Saas says they're looking to raise $1,000. "There's always the necessary vet costs, the spaying and neutering costs and the medical needs. We try and go as far as we can when helping these animals and that takes cash and so that's why we're asking for the cash donations." The Humane Society is not asking for food donations since they have a sponsor for that already but Saas is hoping some dog and cat treats can be dropped off to help make the animals time at the shelter more enjoyable. |
