Moose Jaw's power problems have been fixed. Tuesday, parts of the city experienced off and on power outages, leaving more than 2,000 SaskPower customers in the dark.

SaskPower says power lines have a large build up of ice on them and when the wind starts to blow the lines swing back and forth, touching each other, causing the loss of electricity.

"The weather has been terrible and it's been really hard on our system," said Spokesman James Parker. Early Tuesday evening, crews repaired or replaced five cross-arms on power poles on the northeast side of the city, restoring power to all those affected.
