Brendan Rowinski and an extra 12 seconds were all the Moose Jaw Warriors needed to pick up win number 13 on the season.

Rowinski scored three goals, including the overtime winners just 12 seconds into the extra period, to lead the Warriors to a 5-4 win over the Prince George Cougars on Saturday night at the Civic Centre.

The Warriors hopped out to a 3-1 lead, but a scrappy Cougars squad battled back. After Moose Jaw made it 4-2, Prince George scored the next two to force an extra period.

Ryan Stanton and Jesse Paradis also scored for the Warriors, who move to 13-8 on the season. Prince George drops to 3-14.

A long break is up now for Moose Jaw. Next action is Friday night, when they take on the Regina Pats.
