Alright, maybe it's not his official birthday, but July 27th 1940 the first actual bugs bunny film played. It's called "A Wild Hare" and was the first time that Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny appear in their fully developed forms. Before that there was a rabbit called "Happy Rabbit". Even still, this is a little ways from the bugs image and voice we've all come to know. Check it out.

Iron Maiden is playing Saskatoon tonight. Ok we don't play any Iron Maiden, but one of our co-workers here is off to the show. As he was talking about it, all I could really think about was this old Wheatus song, so I thought I'd post it for you.

Alright, the oil spill in the gulf is not funny, but the situation does give a chance for some to parody the lead up. This was just one that we found online.

The new retro jersey has been unveiled for the Rider's 100th anniversary. It's a throw back to the pre- 1948 green and white we've become used to. I think it looks a little more agressive and pretty cool. What do you think?
