The Moose Jaw Warriors are preparing for the Western Hockey League Eastern Conference Championship against the Saskatoon Blades. Games 1 and 2 are in Saskatoon this Friday and Saturday night, with home games happening in Moose Jaw next Tuesday and Wednesday. The first round of Stanley Cup Playoffs continues...The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Boston Bruins 3-2 to even that series at one win apiece and the Edmonton Oilers scored a 7-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings in game one of that series. Carolina Hurricanes took 2 games to none lead with a 5-3 win over the Islanders and the Vegas Golden Knights opened their series against Dallas with a 4-3 win over the Stars.

Over to Major League Baseball, it was the Toronto Blue Jays over the Kansas City Royals 5-3.
