It wasn't the start to their six-game road trip that the Moose Jaw Miller Express were hoping for over the weekend, dropping their first three games. On Friday, they fell 7-6 in Sylvan Lake in extra innings and then lost again to the Gulls 10-7 on Saturday night. Then yesterday, in Fort McMurray the Millers fell 10-4 to the Giants. The rematch goes on Monday night at 7:05 p.m. 

The Miller Express still remains in first place in the Western Canadian Baseball League's East Division with a 10-7 record and a game-and-a-half lead over the 9-9 Regina Red Sox. 

The Moose Jaw 18U AA Canucks' 5-game winning streak ended on Saturday with an 11-7 loss to the Regina Pacers. Then on Sunday, they split a two-game doubleheader with the Weyburn Beavers winning 13-0 and then losing the second game 9-7. 

Moose Jaw's 18U AAA Canucks were in Lethbridge over the weekend for a tournament and went 0-4. 

The Moose Jaw 15U AAA Canucks were off this weekend but four of their players took to the field elsewhere. Ryan Gibbs, Spencer Craig, Hunter Scott, and Ryder Hicks attended the 15U Sask Selects tryout camp over the weekend. 

Over to lacrosse, Moose Jaw's Cashton Seaborg, Mason Williams, Braxton Mac Angus, Luke Andrews, and Jake Gyman helped the Regina Reign take home the gold medal at the Saskatchewan Lacrosse provincial U20 field championship. 

A big second half for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers led them to a 45-27 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday night. 

Big news out of the Western Hockey League on Friday, as it was announced that the Winnipeg ICE would be relocated to Wenatchee, Washington for this upcoming season. Wenatchee will join the WHL's US Division. 

And the Toronto Blue Jays fell 11-7 in Texas on Sunday in the series finale with the Rangers.
