The South Hill Community Association’s South of the Bridge Day is taking place on Saturday at a new location this year.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kinette Peter Pan Park, located at the corner of Coteau Street West and Tapley Street.

“We just want to draw the community's attention towards the park that we are going to start fundraising for. It needs a few upgrades and so we just want to kind of help the community come and check it out and see why we'd like to do some fundraising,” explain South Hill Community Association’s Crystal Froese.

Tourism Moose Jaw’s trolley will be at South of the Bridge Day giving free tours of South Hill.

“It’s got about five or six different historical stops all throughout South Hill to teach people a little bit about the heritage,” Froese said.

Other activities include a scavenger hunt, bike decorating, face painting and games.

The Moose Jaw Police Service will be on hand giving bike safety tips, while the Moose Jaw Fire Department will have a fire truck on display.
