Moose Jaw police responded to 40 calls for service.

9:07 am – Theft of Tools from Vehicle – The culprit left property behind.  This is still under investigation for fingerprints.

11:05 am – Assistance to Sick Person – The person was located and spoken to and was verified to be okay.

1:04 pm – Assault – One person was charged with breaking, entering and assault and was held in cells for court.

2:13 pm – Disturbance – A person was yelling at a younger person in public.  Both parties were spoken to and statements were taken.  The situation was mediated.

2:41 pm – Fraud – A person was a victim of a Western Union Fraud.  The bank is to take over the investigation.

3:04 pm – Theft from Vehicle –  This is still under investigation.

3:48 pm – Hit and Run to Fence – This resulted in approximately $500 of damage. A piece of the suspect vehicle was left at the scene.

4:13 pm – Breach of Recognizance – Statements are to be obtained.

5:53 pm – Child left in Vehicle – The parent had been in the store for approximately 5 minutes.  The parent was warned.

6:36 pm – Intoxicated Person in Public – The person was located and held in cells until sober.

7:43 pm – Assistance to Sick Person – A subject was given a ride to a family member’s residence for the night.

7:59 pm – Prowler in Yard – This was a person who answered a Kijiji ad to look at a vehicle.  The individual had been previously set up to see the vehicle. 

2:02 am – Suspicious Person – A person was banging on a door.  They left a vehicle in the middle of the street.  This was a shuttle service picking up a customer.

Police responded to four 911 calls.
Police responded to one alarm call.
Police issued one warrant.
