Moose Jaw Warriors alum Joel Edmundson, Wilcox's Jaden Schwartz and the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup on Wednesday night.

The Blues skated to a 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins in the deciding seventh game of the series at TD Bank Garden in Boston.

Edmundson played 156 games in a Warriors uniform, scoring eight goals and 51 points before he was dealt to the Kamloops Blazers.

Originally a second-round pick by the Blues in the 2011 NHL Draft, the Brandon product has 13 goals and 52 points in 269 games during his NHL career.

Edmundson finished with one goal and seven points in 22 playoff games.

Schwartz is in his seventh season with the Blues. He had a team-high 12 goals and finished with 18 points in 25 games during St. Louis’ playoff run.

The Cup winning team also featured Saskatoon's Brayden Schenn and Regina's Tyler Bozak.

This is the first Stanley Cup win in 52 seasons for the Blues.
