The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a break and enter at a local business early Tuesday morning.

The break-in occurred sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning, where the suspected smashed a window to gain entrance and stole numerous bottles of methadone.

Thursday morning, the police service provided an update saying an 18-year-old male, Haban Guesh Gebrehiwot of Moose Jaw, had been arrested and charged with break and enter, wearing a disguise, possession of break and enter instruments, breach of probation, breach of a court order and possession of a controlled substance.

Police recovered all known bottles of methadone that were stolen.
