The Moose Jaw Warriors are looking forward to facing off against the Blades in Saskatoon this Friday and Saturday in the Western Hockey League Eastern Conference championship series.

Catch all the action on Country 100 this weekend. The Warriors and Blades will be back in Moose Jaw for Games 3 and 4 next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Senior High School Badminton City Finals, Cornerstone came out on top with 18 points. For Cornerstone, Kiana Hrechka placed first in Girls Singles, Payton Fisher and Ademide Adewumi were first in Girls Doubles, and Tanner Behrns and Drew Biette were first in Boys Doubles. Central placed second overall in the tournament with 14 points - Central's Cole Wilson was first in Boys Singles, and Micah Salido-Porter and Tara Nguyen were first in Mixed Doubles. The Senior and Bantam Districts will be at Peacock this Saturday.

Kudos to local lacrosse player Mason Williams from Central Collegiate. He has agreed to a scholarship with Lander University in South Carolina.

In Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Winnipeg Jets lost to the Colorado Avalanche 5-2. That series now even at one game apiece. The Vancouver Canucks lost to the Nashville Predators 4-1 so that series is now even at a win apiece. Florida Panthers beat Tampa Bay 3-2 in overtime, taking a 2 games to none lead and the Rangers outscored Washington 4-3, taking 2 games to none lead.

In Major League Baseball yesterday, the Toronto Blue Jays lost 3-2 to the Kansas City Royals.
