Moose Jaw once again left its mark on the CAA Saskatchewan’s top 10 Worst Roads contest. 

Four Moose Jaw streets made the list of roads with common safety concerns such as potholes, poor road maintenance, poor road signs or markings, or unpaved roads. The list is voted on by road users across the province. 

Coteau Street West made it on the list for the second year in a row for its potholes. After finishing in a tie for second in voting in 2023, Coteau Street finished fifth in voting on this year’s list. 

The Fourth Avenue Viaduct also made its second appearance on the Worst Roads list for its potholes and poor road maintenance. The bridge finished in sixth place this year, moving up one spot from seventh in 2022. 

Moose Jaw rounded out the top 10. Thirteenth Avenue Northwest dropped from fourth place in 2019 to ninth place this year. Fourth Avenue Southwest made its first appearance on the list, finishing in 10th place. 

Provincial Highway 8 near Moosomin came away with the title of Worst Road in Saskatchewan for 2024.

    Saskatchewan 47, Springside, Potholes (Ranked #2 in CAA 2022 and 2018 CAA Worst Roads) 
  9. 13 Avenue Northwest, Moose Jaw, Potholes (Ranked #4 in CAA Worst Roads 2019)
